Tellabs has recently replaced the obsolete and manufactured-discontinued RPSU cards from the Tellabs/AFC UMC1000 platform. The RPSU’s have a notoriously high fail rate. PICS has been repairing these cards for our customers for years. The repair route has made sense for our customers because it’s an extremely cost-effective way to extend the life of the platform. The RPSU’s have been removed from the Tellabs catalog, and they are no longer supported by Tellabs. These 0101-0082 replacement cards are a fantastic alternative in regards to both design and price. They are engineered to handle the new power demands of the latest common card.
