The B6-256 line card provides 48 VDSL2 and POTS combo ports with 6 copper GE ports and 4 10GE SFP+ uplink ports. Like the B6-252 the B6-256 supports POTS, ERPOTS, ADSL2+ connectivity, ATM header compression, physical retransmission, seamless rate adaption, ATM Bonding, and the topology connectivity of 4 optical and 6 copper GE connections. The B6-256 also supports 5 band VDSL2 subscriber service connectivity, PTM support, 3-band VDSL2 bonding, ADSL2+ PTM bonding, and the flexibility of either GE or 10GE optical connectivity.
