Charles Universal Broadband Enclosures | CUBE RL10711AN1
The CUBE consists of a protective enclosure for an integrated system of electronic components and equipment that can serve fiber and copper interfaces.
This enclosure is suitable for outside plant-type (OSP) locations and those that may require NEC compliance. The outdoor, weather-resistant CUBE is to be mounted on a wall, H-frame or pole. The installer connects the power, fiber and copper connections.
The CUBE has a single compartment with 6RU of 19” horizontal rack mount spacing and a DC powered heat exchanger. The CUBE ships with either the Dantherm or Vikinor heat exchanger.
WALL/POLE MOUNT CABINETS (CUBE RL SERIES)
Wall / Pole Mount Cabinets (CUBE RL Series) are multi-chamber enclosures designed for traditional 19? or 23? rackmount equipment. Separate locking chambers offer division of provider and customer equipment access. At cell sites and other multi-user locations, this division of access allows customers to service their equipment without the need to have the cabinet’s owner’s technician open the cabinet for them. Flexible designs can be configured to support backhaul, small cell, mini/macro applications for telecommunications, utility or broadband cable applications. The table below details standard RL Series offerings. Other sizes and configurations are available upon request.
The CUBE SC Low-Profile Series are compact multi-chamber enclosures designed to protect radio, power, and battery equipment utilized in wireless Small Cell deployments. To address the ever growing demand for mobile data consumption, Small Cells are being rapidly deployed in urban environments. Charles Small Cell enclosures house Ethernet demarcation devices, AC/DC rectifiers, Small Cell equipment and batteries for backup. Rugged enough to stand up to the outside plant environment, yet small and lightweight, Charles Small Cell CUBE Enclosures provide the flexibility required by today’s challenging restrictions associated with placement of small cell equipment and are poised to play a key part in the cellular network’s future.
