The 5134 is a cost-effective 10GbE/25GbE-to-100GbE aggregation router purpose-built to meet the demands of mobile xHaul aggregation as well as broadband access. Its compact form factor combines hard network slicing through FlexEthernet (FlexE), soft network slicing through segment routing, and support for optical and micro–optical line terminal (uOLT) pluggables into a single platform. The result is an ideal product for mobile and wholesale network operators to cost effectively deliver 5G and broadband services.

The Ciena 170-5134-900 (or 170-5134-900-A) is a 5134 Service Aggregation Switch/Router designed for high-capacity, metro Ethernet, and 5G xHaul applications. It is a 1RU, temperature-hardened device with (24) 25/10/1GbE SFP28 ports and (4) 100GbE QSFP-DD ports, often featuring DC power, providing robust packet networking and, typically, Secure Zero Touch Provisioning (SZTP).

The Ciena 170-3801-900 is a 3801 XGS-PON desktop Optical Network Unit (ONU) designed for high-speed, symmetrical 10 Gb/s broadband service delivery to residential, small, and medium-sized businesses. This compact, mountable unit (170-3801-900) provides one XGS-PON port and one 1GbE LAN port, supporting Bridge mode and OMCI management.
- Performance: Symmetrical 10 Gb/s downstream and upstream.
- Interfaces: (1) XGS-PON SC/APC port, (1) 1GbE RJ-45 port.

Its multiport design and support for analog voice make it an ideal fit for residential and business applications inside home or small office locations.

The Ciena 3803 170-3803-900 is purpose-built for residential environments, multi-dwelling units (MDUs), and small-to-medium enterprises (SMBs). It functions as a demarcation point that converts optical signals into Ethernet and analog voice services.
- Interface Types: Features integrated XGS-PON for 10G optical connectivity and typically includes multiple RJ-45 Ethernet ports for local networking.
- Voice Support: Includes an integrated Analog Telephone Adapter (ATA) with RJ-11 ports to support traditional analog voice services.
